.to cultivate, promote, foster, sponsor, and develop Asian Indian community in Somerset County and neighboring areas in the state of New Jersey. 2.to educate children about Indian culture, values, and customs. 3.to educate the mainstream community about Asian Indian culture, values and customs, with an aim to increase understanding and importance of diversity. 4.to organize and sponsor lectures, seminars, meetings, exhibitions, radio and television programs to promote Asian Indian arts, music, languages, and literature. 5.to develop and undertake educational programs leading to a balanced growth in the physical, social and psychological development of members. 6.to collect and administer funds for cultural, scientific, educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code of 1954, specifically to improve the quality of human life all over the world
