Gaples Institute for Integrative Cardiology

The Gaples institute for Integrative Cardiology developed and made freely available extensive new educational resources related to nutrition and lifestyle, including a new nutrition education program translated into Spanish. These programs have been utilized in the past year by a wide-range of groups, including: middle school and college students, women's shelters, and a wide range of Spanish speaking learners. Dr. Devries has also given community talks to several community groups by teleconference that focus on how to optimze lifestyle measures, a goal that has taken on special importance in the time of covid-19.
