Our mission is to return cinema to our community by re-creating the Chatham Theater, formerly known as the Orpheum Theater. The Orpheum was restored to the iconic and historic main street structure which housed the local movie Theater from 1915-1985 as an art house cinema which offers a wide range of films, including children's programming, educational programming, independent films, documentaries, foreign films as well as contemporary and classic films, all currently under-represented in our community.
