New York City H2O inc. offers educational programs about water and waste treatment systems(in New York City and elsewhere) to interested members of the public. The goal is to raise awareness about the water system and waste treatment processes (including sewage treatment and recycling); expand the understanding that significant resources and skill are required to establish, maintain, and improve the public water system and waste treatment systems; and encourage recycling to reduce the burden imposed on such system. New York City H2O, inc. is organized exclusively for charitable educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
