To be the advocate for the families in the San Antonio metropolitan area of south Texas, relative to issues that protect, defend and promote the domestic church. To be the premier authentic "watch dog" group with the reputation to speak out according to god's Christian morals and behavior. That all enterprises either government or non-government have respect for San Antonio Family association as one of the authentic voices for families and to be able to respond with loving guidance. To promote the teachings of the church with regards to the authentic nature of the Family and its foundational and critical role in society and to support the work of the teaching magisterium regarding Family life, sexual ethics, parental rights and responsibilities as expressed in official papal and curial documents and speeches,especially the work published by the pontifical council for the Family of the roman curia.
