The Atlanta Golden Retriever Club, inc. is established to encourage and promote the reponsible ownership of Golden retrievers; to encourage and promote the quality breeding of pure-bred Golden retrievers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection; to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanslike competition at doe shows, obedience trials, and field trials; to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, obedience trials, field trials, and agility trials under the rules and regulations of the American kennel club.
