RPHS Music Boosters is to support students in REX Putnam High School Music programs. Programs include Concert Pep Jazz Bands Choir and the REX Putnam Indoor Percussion program. These groups perform not only at rallies and games but in the community playing free concerts marching in parades and other events. Besides volunteering at events the Boosters fundraise for many program expenses that are crucial to keep the Music vital accessible and growing: instrument purchases repairs uniforms purchase of new Music contest entry fees transportation hospitality for events scholarships for graduating seniors and assistance for band students in need and stipends for clinicians drum line coaches. Boosters provide the majority of non-salary program costs. RPHS Music Boosters is founded on the belief that Music is an essential element in the human experience and that participation in Music programs offers motivation challenge reward and a lifetime of satisfaction.
