BSHA achieves its mission through its on and off site history & horses programs. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Detroit citizens and her visitors by extending public knowledge of the achievements of all of America's African American armed forces. And to enrich the lives of Detroit residents by offering a safe, welcoming recreational opportunities which will enhance the quality of life for everyone.
