We are an all volunteer Organization that rescues abandoned and mistreated dogs and puppies including puppies and adult breeder dogs rescued from puppy mills. Our Organization coordinates the transportation, veterinary care, of the dogs and puppies, and provides food and housing for the rescued dogs. We have taken on the responsibility to to assure that each dog has been spayed or neutered through a relationship with several local Veterinarians to make sure that they will no longer be allowed to breed. This will decrease the amount of dogs forced to live in shelters, and possibly euthanized. We also work with the rescued dogs to socialize them and improve their adoptability, and arrange fostering and adoption of the rescued dogs. We promote public education about puppy mills and adopting pets rather than purchasing them from pet stores or over the Internet. We encourage adopting a Rescue or shelter dog. From time to time we will take in a local dog needing placement in a home.
