Almost Home DOG Rescue is dedicated to the Rescue and rehabilitation of dogs from high kill shelters, dogs abandoned and dogs no longer wanted by their owners. The focus is providing dogs with a safe haven by utilizing our home until a forever home has been secured. We focus on behavioral issues and secure any necessary medical attention while they are in our care. We also operate as a sanctuary, providing forever homes to those dogs with medical issues, behavioral issues and older dogs that may not be adoptable.Almost Home DOG Rescue is opposed to the euthanasia of dogs, unless deemed medically necessary, for the well being of the dog or in extremely rare instances of highly aggressive behavior and the safety of humans. We are opposed to animal cruelty and will not support any organization or human that supports or condones this behavior.
