Adam Yauch Foundation

Adam Yauch was a member of the famous band beastie boys which was recently inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in april of 2012. In 2009, at the young age of 44, adam was diagnosed with cancer. Adam passed away three years later in may of 2012. In adam's loving memory, his family and former band mates (mike diamond and adam horovitz) set up the Adam Yauch foundation. It is anticipated that the charity's primary function will be to make grants to charitable organizations that further the projects and objectives set by the board of directors
