Center for Open Science

COS is a nonprofit culture change organization with a mission to increase the openness, integrity, and reproducibility of scientific research. COS advances this mission by:(I) building and improving open-source infrastructure that supports transparent, reproducible practices across the research lifecycle;(ii) increasing researchers' capacity to pursue openness, integrity, and trustworthiness;(iii) shifting the incentives, norms, and policies that shape researcher behavior;(iv) developing sustainable business models for open, public-goods services; and(v) conducting metascience research that innovates, experiments, and evaluates how research is done.
