Friends of Hackett

The Friends of Horatio B. Hackett School is an incorporated organization founded in August of 2013 by residents of Hacketts school catchment. Participation in the organization is open to anyone interested in supporting the school. The mission of the Friends of Horatio B. Hackett Elementary is to provide support to all current and future Hackett students teachers staff and parents in order to maintain a safe and academically engaging environment both in school and within the community. Our goal is to support Hackett students to become educated responsible contributing citizens of the City of Philadelphia. Friends of Hackett is an all-volunteer organization having no paid staff. Funding is currently provided by donations from the general public and nonprofit organizations.
