Altmar Volunteer Fire Dept Inc

The Altmar Volunteer Fire Dept., inc. was incorporated on march 26, 2013 and began providing services to the town of albion on june 1, 2013 following the dissolution of the village of Altmar. The purpose of the organization, as stated in the articles of incorporation is to "provide firefighting, training, prevention and all other related activities for providing these services." the organization is composed solely of volunteers who, as trained and certified fire fighters, respond to notifications provided by emergency services and others by "alarm, or telephone or in any other manner" to "diligently and in everyway reasonably suggested to extinguish the fire and to save life and property in connection therein."
