The chronic disease reimbursement fund was created to aid individuals with cervical cancer and kidney transplants, and a total of three individuals were supported during this reporting period.kidney transplant patients are required to take a medication 1-2 times daily for the rest of their lives. The program aids their efforts to afford the needed medications. The cervical cancer patient has stage 4 cervical cancer and is undergoing treatment.for each, a physician verified the chronic disease and the patients verified that their incomes were between 138% and 500% of the federal poverty level, with no one qualifying for medi-cal (Medicaid).
