Family Promise of Effingham Inc

The misssion of Family Promise of Effingham, inc. is to help low income and homeless families achieve financial stability and independence by providing shelter, food, beds, and other necessary resources such as financial counseling and job search assistance. This is done thorugh an interfaith hospitality network (ihn), which is a collaborative effort with houses of worship. Family Promise provides shelter, food, and other resources during the day at the day center, including access to comprehensive case management; houses of worship provides rooms, food, and overnight shelter. Social service agencies refer homeless families, and the local community supplies volunteers to help achieve the organization's mission.
