In furtherance of its charitable and educational purposes, MPAA is organized:(a) as a scholastic amateur Athletic league, providing a format for educational activities including but not limited to teaching sports and important life values to youth;(b) to combat juvenile delinquency by providing a recreational outlet for juveniles;(c) to be a continuous positive guiding factor in the social, educational, and Athletic development of disenfranchised youth;(d) to teach skill development associated with sports, promote uniformity of standards in all Athletic competition;(e) to actively guide and mentor the character development of youth through competitive league sports, recreational sports, and sports programing in partnership with schools and community-based organizations to achieve its goals; and(f) to form and/or affiliate Athletic teams with MPAA for the purpose of providing support, standards, and management of such affiliated Athletic teams.
