WAR Memorial Cultural Arts and Community Center

Goal of the WAR Memorial Cultural Arts and Community center is to bring art, dance and Cultural events and shows to the Community of powhatan. We also strive to celebrate our veterans with veteran day shows and on going recognition with movies and other events of recognition. The American legion meets in our facility each month. We provide space to groups to include other not for profit organizations in the county of powhatan to include ymca, rotary club and citizens of the county. We have art and craft shows to bring the Community together for the arts for all that have interest. In the prior prior year, dance classes were scheduled with an instructor on a weekly basis.
