New York Special District Organization Inc

The entity is organized as a non-profit organization that will advocate the rights of lcoal residents through information, meetings, gatherings and networking about local government services; to particpate with other civic and community organizations and institutions in similar functions and activities: to encourage citizen participation and involvement in community programs in local and state government; to examine the integrity, structure and service responsibilties of Special districts; to promote measures which will enhance the efficiency in the delivery of services by government; to protect home rule and the publics right to have a voice in local governement.
