Soapbox - the Feminist Foundation

Working closely with gloria steinem, the organization's movement building work is designed entirely to strengthen the individuals and organizations who are leading the way in feminism by sharing resources, getting organizations to collaborate, and otherwise providing opportunities for people to come and learn from each other. There are also direct appeals at meetings, writing material, and public speaking. The organization periodically holds Feminist camps, which are convenings for students (high school, college, and graduates) to explore contemporary issues in feminism and women's lives. Camps also function as a career readiness opportunity identifying what jobs exist and establishing contacts.
