Manhattan Community Boathouse Inc

The corporation is formed to provide the general public with access to the Hudson River and to encourage safe recreational human-powered boating in New York City. The corporation will maintain a public Boathouse in Hudson River Park, where it will operate a walk-up kayaking program, offer its dock as a public launch site for all human-powered boating, and lead guided kayak trips on the Hudson River. The corporation will also operate similar walk-up kayaking programs in other public parks within New York City. All operations of the corporation will be staffed entirely by volunteers, provided at no cost to participants, and funded by donations from the public.
