Sequoias-Portola Valley Resident Association

To promote pleasure and recreation for and among residents of the association, by (a) assisting in establishing and maintaining an environment that enhances such residents' self-determination and independence, (b) establishing and maintaining community events and activities of interest to such residents related to social, intellectual, educational, religious, spiritual, physical, recreational and other similar pursuits, (c) encouraging and promoting personal contact, commingling, and fellowship among such residents, (d) acting as an advocate on behalf of such residents and a liaison for discourse and communication between such residents and the management of the association and the officers & directors of sequoia living concerning specific issues that impact such residents' quality of life, such as quality of care, exercise of rights, safety, quality of physical environment, and fiscal matters, and (e) otherwise pursuing the enhancement of a positive quality of life for such residents.
