Girls on the run international's main activity is an interactive running program designed to educate girls, ages eight to twelve, for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living. The objective is to reduce the potential display of at-risk behaviors among its participants, with the goal being fewer teen pregnancies, fewer eating disorders, less depression and fewer substance abuse problems.
