Children of the HILLS

Children of the HILLS primary purpose is bring education to the tribal community living in the HILLS of Bangladesh and to provide life improvements that will ultimately enable this community to become self-supporting. There are thousands of tribal Children living in the HILLS who have no educational opportunity and families live in abject poverty. Children of the HILLS is working in partnership with the Bangladesh Tribal Association of Baptist Churches (BTABC) to establish primary schools in villages where churches have been established but no schools exist. These schools are community supported and they are open to every child living within the area. Children of the HILLS is also supporting agricultural projects such as tree farms and vegetable gardens with the goal of providing future educational funding sources and it is providing micro-loans to tribal women for the purpose of increasing family income
