Fostering Change Network Foundations mission is to support the holistic wellness financial empowerment and leadership development of adults with lived experience in foster care. In alignment with this mission and our grant funding for 2026 the Foundation hosted the Alumni Powerhouse Wellness Retreat a multi-day gathering focused on holistic wellness leadership sustainability and peer connection for adults with foster care histories. The retreat served 20 participants and included trauma-informed wellness activities financial empowerment workshops and strategic growth sessions. Funding supported venue costs planning and facilitation lodging meals materials and travel scholarships.
