The organization's primary Mission is to Rescue stray animals and abandoned senior and handicapped animals. These animals are often considered less desirable adoption choices, and thus are frequent victims of euthenasia in order to relieve pet shelter overcrowding. Our goal is to claim these animals prior to their scheduled demise, and to care for them indefinitely, ultimately placing each animal in a loving home. Contributions will be used to cover the cost of food for rescued animals, to pay for shelter space, purchase needed supplies for the humane care of animals, and to pay veterinarians and pet caregivers for the medical care and grooming of animals under our protection. Additionally, contributed dollars will fund programs to educate the public on the benefits of adopting senior and handicapped animals, promote our Mission, and advertise to find loving homes for animals.
