The purpose of the organization is to prevent cruelty to animals within the means of section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue service code. Activities include transporting at risk abused, abandoned and neglected dogs (and other animals) facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters into a network of rescue and sanctuary organizations. Our mission is supported through efforts to make spay/neuters more accessible and affordable. Our pet food bank distributes pet food to veterans, elderly, low income pet owners, homeless, street animals, and to our rescue network. Food assistance helps reduce abandonment and neglect, which keeps animals out of shelters.
