The general purposes of the center for Viral Hepatitis inc are: (1)to raise awareness of Viral Hepatitis b and c ("Hepatitis") and their complications in communities locally, nationally, and globally, (2)to provide patients afflicted with Hepatitis with support and to link them with clinical care, especially for those that are economically disadvantaged, (3)to support clinical research and provide patients access to the fruits of such research, (4)to reduce the impact of Hepatitis infections by slowing progression and complications arising from Hepatitis, thereby reducing morbidity and mortality associated with Hepatitis, and (5)to support collaborative activities between biopharmaceutical companies and Hepatitis patients.
