Community Childhood Learning Place

The Community Childhood Learning Place is a dhhs licensed Community- built 4,000 square-foot early Learning education and care center program serving the young children of castine, blue hill, penobscot, sedgwick, orland, bucksport, and brooksville ages 4 months to 5 years with an after-school program for Pre-K to 5th grade students emphasizing steam projects and problem solving activities. The curriculum is play-based with an emphasis on project approach and discovery Learning. Licensed by the department of health and human services as well as involved in the review process to receive accreditation through national association for the education for young children.
