Tony Smith Foundation

The Tony Smith foundation supports the visual arts by placing the work and legacy of the American artist and architect in dialogue with contemporary art and design. The research programs seek to advance engagement with Smith's wide-ranging creative and intellectual pursuits by activating new perspectives, scholarship, publications, and interpretations of the artist's transdisciplinary practice and the modernist era in which it developed.catalogue raisonne program:work on the catalogues raisonne of Tony Smith's work has continued during the past Fiscal Year. A total of two volumes and two companion books for sculpture and architecture, have been completed. Work on the catalogue raisonne of painting is currently underway.
