The foundation is organized exclusively for one or more of the purposes as specified in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The primary objective of the foundation is to create urban agricultural opportunities and eductational programs, that empower individuals to discover and participate in local food growing, to provide access to affordable fresh produce, promote healthy living, nurture the environment, and culivate a sustainable community.
