Our mission is to end the needless and horrible suffering and killing of dogs and cats in the metro New Orleans area by: 1) providing high quality veterinary care at significantly discounted prices to help middle and low-income pet owners better care for and afford to keep their pets; especially pet owners who have never been to a veterinarian. 2) offering high volume, LOW Cost spay/neuter similar to Austin, jacksonville, and ashville, cities that have lowered their euthanasia rates to below 10%. 3) creating a "real world" teaching facility for tulane's ab freeman school of business and lsu's school of veterinary medicine. 4) becoming a resource for other Animal welfare groups who need affordable spay/neuter and veterinary care. 5) spur our neighborhood's economic development with veterinary care, employment opportunities, increased consumer traffic, and higher property values. 6) opening a pet food bank for supplemental pet food for spayed/neutered animals of low-income residents.
