St. James st. James Housing Alliance, inc. was formed to provide and encourage strategies and assist with public and private projects and programs that will support the development of decent affordable Housing; to promote and advance decent, safe and sanitary Housing for persons of low income and particularly the elderly or handicapped in st. James parish, louisiana, and to act by, among other things, rendering financial assistance in acquiring, rehabilitating, maintaining, and operating Housing projects in st. James parish and usable for public Housing purposes or other purposes not inconsistent herrewith; to assist in the financing of Housing for such persons of low income, pursuant to the laws of the United States of America pertaining to such Housing projects, particularly the United States Housing act of 1937, as amended.Housing Alliance, inc. is a not-for-profit corporation.
