NOVA Veterans Associations mission is critical in that we provide the one thing the elderly and underserved dont have - equitable access to the services they need. We are a personal comprehensive case management and advocacy service which is fundamentally different than a resource directory or a navigation service. We work with each veteran so we understand their needs comprehensively then coordinate services and always follow up. Most Veteran Service Organizations focus on supporting only a single immediate need for which the veteran is seeking help. However Veterans who are in poverty disabled elderly or have mental health challenges have a complex set of needs that must be addressed to improve their quality of life. NOVA Veterans support holistically over the long-term because our Veterans deserve more than a short-term temporary fix. We provide continuity of support through multiple partner organizations using our Veteran Quality of Life Cycle model.
