1) to foster and promote Sun YAT-sen's principles and writings in the u.s2) to promote interaction between the u.s. And china in teh aers ofeducation leadership and medicine3) to grant and award scholaships to deserving high school and collegestudnets4) to develop and exhibit the Sun YAT-sen and soong ching ling collections5) to translate and publish u.s. And Chinese history from Chinese textsinto english and vice versa6) to assit and work with American Chinese historial societies andorganizations7) to raise funds to build the Sun YAT-sen center to the state of hawaiiland, in honolulu's kaka' ako makai
