The Montgomery County Ambulance association is a Group of regional ems leaders ( operational and administrative) representing ems agencies in Montgomery County and adjacent areas that meet monthly to network and share ideas. The Group is also actively involved with local ems delivery and planning as well as state ems legislative efforts working closely with other pa ems trade and professional organizations as well as municipal government. Montgomery County currently has 22 licensed emergency 911 Ambulance services and 37 licensed ems transport services with just over 2000 licensed paramedics, emergency medical technicians and other ems providers who are ready to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
