Barbara Popper Memorial Foundation Inc

The foundation's primary exempt purpose is to work in conjunction with the federation for children with special needs to educate parents on how to advocate for themselves and their children. Training programs have been created, in collaboration with the federation, for both parents and healthcare professionals to inform them of the impact of public policy and to make them aware of programs available for these families. The expectation is that if both parents and healthcare professionals are aware of such policies and programs, they can use that knowledge to provide the best possible care plan for children with special needs.
