To raise funds and awareness for cancer care and research through the CYCLE of Lives book and project. We raise funds by donating net proceeds from book sales via the publisher's outlets and through direct sales and contributions and donations to various cancer-focused and other charities. We do podcast appearances and other media with the hope of discussing the need to form deeper connections with others in our Lives who are going through emotionally difficult trauma, specifically via the cancer experience (as doctor, patient, loved one, caregiver or survivor). We do keynote talks, workshops, breakouts and other presentations to discuss the emotional aspects of the cancer experience, with the hopes of better equipping people to begin the hard conversations around the emotional aspects of their experience.
