The Corporation is organized to develop, foster and maintain sisterhood and social interaction at facilities of Alpha Sigma Alpha, a women's fraternal organization chartered at colleges and universities. In furtherance of such purpose, but not by way of limitation, the Corporation's purposes include receiving and administering funds necessary to operate facilities where members of Alpha Sigma Alpha live together, commingle, and have access to social and recreational facilities needed to advance Alpha Sigma Alpha's and the Corporation's purposes of good fellowship and a positive Sorority experience, bringing together members of the Sorority and Corporation for training and programming to assist them in maintaining occupancy and managing facilities safely and competitively, and retaining and investing funds in accordance with applicable law, grantor restrictions, and policies of the Corporation.
