The foundation's primary activities include a scholarship program (started in 2016), community grants program (started in 2015), and employee and agent matching gift programs (started in 2016). In 2022, the Dreams foundation approved a 2.5m donatioln to the center for black excellence and culture. The center is a new inspirational community space that will celebrate black achievement and support education, entrepreneurship, arts and more. The Dreams foundation invested more than 3.6m directed by nearly 4,300 employees and agency owners. American Family Insurance Dreams foundation continues to offer its dependent scholarship program. In 2022, we added 72 new scholarships awardees and for a total of 281 scholarships.
