The DR Shirley LINZY Young Artists Orchestra of LAS Vegas

The dr. Shirley LINZY Young Artists Orchestra of LAS Vegas (yao) operates the only tuition-free youth Orchestra program in the state of nevada. Each season, yao serves over 200 students and Young professionals, and presents over 15 concerts and events that enrich our local community. Since our founding in 2015, 100% of our high school graduates received large or full scholarships to go to college. We are profoundly passionate about educating, promoting, and developing the musical talent of our students through diverse and cultural music programming, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. We strongly believe students in our program learn to build better relationships through teamwork and engagement, analytical skill development, and time management, to name a few. Regardless of career choice, these are skills which will transfer over and build successful careers and outstanding citizens for the betterment of our community.
