Meade County Economic Developement Committee Inc

Description of organization mission: Economic growth factors are monitored in order to evaluate those effecting Meade County. All activities are governed by the need to be consistent in the preservation of Meade countys quality of life. Assistance is provided to local, County, state and national governmental agencies to expediate and entice businessess to locate in Meade County. Assistance is made available to Meade countys educational institutes and state governing agency programs to prepare individuals for employment with Meade County businesses and industry. Assistance is offered to existing services and support businesses. MCEDC oversees and CO-admististers with Great Plains development, covering southwest kansas counties, micro-loan grant funds awarded to Meade County and rural business enerprise grant funds awarded to MCEDC for start-up and expanding Meade County businesses and industry.
