United Piedmont Center for Educational Excellence is a non-profit agency that has operated for over 20 years in the Piedmont Triad area, Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem NC, an area that has a high percentage of poverty, a high percentage o f female head of household, a low percentage of degrees and a recurring high school dropout rate. UPCEE provide free Educational prep services for low income, under reprepresented and first generation individuals who may not have the same access as others in the community. This activity is conducted by qualified employees of the agency and local school teachers (PT). The primary purpose of this agency is to support the National Education goals as stated in the (34CRF part 643 of the Department of Education regulations.
