The organization is not for profit formed for the purpose of land conservation. Public and membership education regarding the value of natural areas through bulletins and mailings. Formed to pursue environmental research to protect staten island's parklands engages in forest restoration workshops, to plant Native species of trees and shrubs and to remove invasive plants. Creates videos of parklands of staten island for local community television broadcasts.
