Long Island Regional Advisory Council on Higher Education

The purposes of LIRACHE are as follows: 1) to promote member cooperation on issues including economic development, community relations, media contacts, legislative initiatives, data collection, and campus operations; 2) to speak with one voice to business leaders, legislators and school superintendents; 3) to work with the K-12 sector to promote a seamless transition from high school to college for all students; 4) to create community awarenes of the extraordinary breadth, depth, and excellence of instruction, research, and community service taking place at member institutions.
