Virginia League of Social Services Executives

To foster collegial relationships among its members by encouraging open communication, shared learning, and mutual support; and to promote meaningful collaboration among local, regional, and state agenciesas well as with federal partnersin the development, implementation, and advocacy of legislation and policies that enhance public welfare. Furthermore, to strengthen cooperation and build mutual understanding between the various levels of the department of Social Services, other governmental bodies, private organizations, and the communities they serve, in order to ensure coordinated, responsive, and effective delivery of human Services throughout the commonwealth of Virginia.
