Harrison Haven

This organization provided housing to qualified elderly persons through the operation of a 56-unit multi-family housing complex in kingman, Arizona. The organization provided decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing to 61 residents: 81% between the ages 62-80; and 17% between ages 81-95 and 2% over 96. Of this resident population, 25% were identified as at-risk elderly, and 29% were identified as frail elderly. Harrison Haven has a service coordinator who assists residents in obtaining needed supportive services from community agencies. This service coordinator is a valuable resource person who assisted residents with services such as: advocacy, assessments, healthcare services, benefits/entitlements/insurance, crisis intervention/supportive counseling, home management, meals, alternative housing, translation/interpretation and transportation.
