The Genesis Youth Project Inc

The Genesis Youth Project (formerly known as Youth for Christ - ft. lauderdale) a Florida non-profit corporation serving greater ft. lauderdale area / broward county continuously since incorporating on december 7, 1979, exists to meet the spiritual needs of hard-to-reach kids (ages 11-19). Since 2001, the organization has focused on high-risk kids in secure/legally forced confinement, correctional facilities, jails, specialized community group-foster homes and lockups by providing pastoral care, Bible studies, spiritual counseling/guidance, life coaching, and chaplaincy services. Pastor bown was awarded Florida djj "volunteer of the year" as a fl-djj chaplain. Pastor brown serves on the south Florida human trafficking task force (sfhttf) interfaith committee.
