The purposes for which the corporation is organized are: (a)to function as an International membership association for individuals, partnerships, firms, associations, and corporations involved in and dedicated to improving and advancing the professional application of Laser Display. (b)to unite those engaged in the Laser Display industry for the purpose of fostering and promoting the mutual interest of their profession. (c)to develop and maintain standards of safety performance within the Laser Display industry. (d)to promote a better understanding between Display professionals and federal regulatory agencies such as fda, center for devices and radiological health (cdrh). (e)to foster and promote the development of new technology within the industry and the advancement of Laser artistry. (f)to promote activities aimed at enabling Laser Display professionals to serve the entertainment and communications industries with greater efficiency. (g)to advance ethical dealings with one another
