Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club Incorporated

The Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club (pvgrc) is a member club of the Golden Retriever Club of America (grca) and is licensed by the American kennel club (akc). The club's purpose is to encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred Golden retrievers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection; to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American kennel club as the only standard of excellence by which the Golden Retriever shall be judged; to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsman like competition at dog shows, obedience trials, field trials, tracking tests, and agility trials under the rules of the American kennel club; and to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, field trials, hunting Retriever tests, obedience trials, tracking tests, and agility trials, under the rules of the American kennel club and any other sanctioned events.
